The second round of the 2020 elections can be seen, in a way, as a "dress rehearsal" of a coalition of leftist parties for the 2022 general elections. This is what the national presidents of PSOL, PC do B and PDT, and the PT secretary general. The leaders have in mind the disputes in São Paulo (SP), Porto Alegre (RS) and Fortaleza (CE), Guilherme Boulos (PSOL), Manuela D'Ávila (PC do B) and José Sarto (PDT), respectively, they reached the second round and managed to pool the support of the main left parties. Acronyms of this political field are represented in 27 of the 57 cities in which there will be a second round this Sunday (29). The number represents 47% of the total. Despite the optimism, the party leaders themselves are cautious in addressing the issue. There are several bottlenecks that can prevent the formation of a left-wing front, ranging disagreements over the choice of the running mate in a possible presidential candidacy
